What is Secondary Breast Cancer?
Unlike primary breast cancer, secondary breast cancer – also known as metastatic breast cancer – is incurable. It occurs when cancer cells spread from the breast to other parts of the body such as the bones, liver, lungs or brain. Despite affecting thousands, it remains underrepresented and underfunded.
